Time being what it is, should we ever meet, in order to expedite matters and move them
quickly to a more elevated plane, I would like to answer your first two questions in advance.
Answer to your first question:

YES, I would love a glass of wine. Thank you.

Answer to your second question.

Yes, a Bordeaux would be perfect.
A NOTE TO MYSELF:  (April 16, 2012

This kind of thing happens around here all the time, and it always strikes me as peculiar.

A gentleman appears in front of me. He is tall, about my age-- maybe a little more-- he has
thinning grey hair, has on glasses. He's casually dressed. He wants to check in. He is British,
his wife-- who looks like a slight dazed, somewhat heavier version of my dear mother-in-law, is
French.. His name is Braxton.

What's peculiar is that the last two people who checked in-- twenty minutes earlier-- were
named Bray. Mr. Bray was tall, about my age-- maybe a little more-- he had thinning grey hair
and had on glasses. He was casually dressed. He was British, and his wife-- who looked like a
slight dazed, somewhat heavier version of my dear mother-in-law, was French as well.

These two couples could have been yanked from the same mold.

I asked Mr. Braxton if he might know Mr. Bray by chance, and explained why in simple,
somewhat diplomatic, necessarily oblique terms. He told me No, he didn't, and seemed to
take it much better than most.
