| TWO WEEKS in BLETANTE is a political book. And, I'm sorry to say that I meant it to be. But, reading TWO WEEKS in BLETANTE is not like going 15 rounds, slugging it out toe-to-toe, against a relentless idiotic ideological opponent. In TWO WEEKS in BLETANTE—as in real life— political matters do surface frequently, but only in the midst of a wide range of other, delightfully non-political, matters.
